During the closure of the library in response to Covid-19, the not-for-profit material resource has been challenged with ways to bring olfactory education to its members and the public without being able to attend the physical space. The Material Explorations course, is a programme by which each week and new theme is discussed in group video calls in which each participant is sent a number of materials that relate to the weekly theme. The first four weeks include greenhouse, holiday, rose and campfire. Each theme is promoted by the above and below shown imagery along with comprehensive pamphlets which allow the participant to make notes along with the session.
